Some people just want text. While modern email clients usually support HTML-based layout, some recipients prefer text emails, and older clients as well as many mobile phones don’t display HTML-based messages. For them, you need a way to quickly generate text from your carefully-crafted HTML emails. That way, when someone can’t see your full message, they’ll still see a clean, text-based version of your content.
But making text versions of your emails is a nuisance. Instead, use the Quicktext Conversion module. It’s an optional interface module that generates a text version of an email directly from the HTML with just a single click, handling formatting and doing what it can to preserve your structure in a text format. It’s a free extension to CakeMail that makes building an email campaign even easier.
As with other Interface Modules, you can activate this feature for all of your clients, or a specific client.
