Interface Tour
HTML Editor
- The what-you-see-is-what-you-get HTML editor makes it easy for users to modify any HTML template. It's as easy as using a word processor.
- Advanced users can access the HTML source code for total control over the newsletter layout.
- Custom tags allow senders to personalize an email. Any field in the subscriber list database can be integrated into the email content to make it more personal, which in this case is the subscriber’s first name.
- Unsubscribe links are personalized for each list member to give them one-click access to the unsubscribe function without them having to remember and input the email address used for that mailing list, which is particularly helpful if they are using a mail forwarding service. This avoids frustrations at being held captive to a list, which could cause the user to report legitimate mail as spam.
Campaigns
- The screenshots in this quick tour show the CakeMail demo account, however the interface would normally display the appropriate reseller’s logo and design, depending on the URL used to access the application.
- This zone provides an overview of a user’s campaigns and mailings.
- Users can create a mailing from scratch, or start a new mailing simply by duplicating a previous one.
- This progress bar tells the user that their mailing is in the process of being delivered. They can access their statistics any time during the process to see live progress, including number of emails opened and click-throughs as they occur.
