A few months ago we began to talk about ways in which we could be more transparent about aspects of our business that were important to our customers. One of the things we specifically focused on was the ability for customers (or anyone, really) to monitor the status of our various systems and services in real-time.
It’s for that reason that we’ve started to use an open and public monitoring site (provided by Pingdom) to track the availability of the CakeMail API, and our client sites. You can find all of this info at: http://status.cakemail.com/
In addition to just making things available to check on, we’ll be posting updates on any downtime or service disruption issues both here on the blog, and also on our system status support forum. We’ll also be making more system status information available over time, so check back!
